Hello Everyone,
This is my first post.
Last Saturday i held my first solo Family Constellation workshop.
On the evening before i was feeling very shaky so i put on a DVD of Bert Hellinger teaching, both to prime myself and also get over myself.
Within seconds of it beginning there was a crash on the window.
I paused the DVD and went outside to find a thrush lying flat on it's back, it's wings spread wide, it's mouth open- frozen. I fetched some Vital Spark ( an essence i make from Himalayan wild flowers for shock) My experience of birds hitting the windows of this well glazed house is that this essence either brings them back or sends them on their way quickly.
It drank the drops but still could not move. I gently picked it up and placed it on the sofa outside; it could neither stand, nor hold it's head up, and it's right wing was collapsed.I dropped some honey water mixed with more Vital Spark in it's mouth, then cupped my hands around it, barely touching it and poured energy into it for about 10 minutes or so. I knew when to stop when a shudder went through it's body, and i left it then to release the trauma by itself the way that birds and animals know how to do so well.
Every once in a while i checked on it through the window, and over an hour or so it slowly began to stand up.
I then forgot about it and went out to water the garden. Sometime later i came past where it was, it stood up, looked at me for a while and then flew off into the empty sky.
I knew then that the workshop would be a healing event.
And it was.
My place is on the side of a mountain sacred to the indigenous people of this area, but not only, most who live here respect the sacredness of this Mother mountain as she is known, and all those who hold workshops here testify to the power of her presence and the deep holding.
My experience on that day was of being held so deeply by the field that i was able to let it move me in whatever way was appropriate to the work that was happening. And i am deeply humbled by the movements and healings that took place. The love in the room was tangible.

I bow down to my personal teachers in this work:
Bubula Lardi who introduced me to it many years ago and continues to be my mentor and inspiration.
Chris Walsh and Catherine Ingram whose ongoing meticulous training continues to deepen my grounding in it.
Ursula Franke and Thomas Bryson whose recent inspirational workshop in Melbourne unfurled my wings and gave me courage to fly.
And lastly to this group whose posts i have been reading for many years and have gleened so much wisdom from.
Thank you.
