I've never experienced a group that has different fee structures for
those wishing to set up a constellation and those that don't. In our training
with Peter and Jamy Faust it was always modeled that the healing is communal
and interconnected for all the participants, their families and ancestors. And
that healing is possible from observing or being a representative. The field
of healing possibility grows throughout the day, and everyone is part of the
process whether they are witnessing and supporting with their attention, being
a representative, or doing their own work. In fact often a representative who
is deeply affected by their experience in the role will be the next person to
work. It lets the energy continue to flow naturally and will sometimes allow a
theme to emerge during the day, where numerous people will work on a similar
issue- siblings, incest, etc.
Re: disconnecting from a role, I think part of what helps in our groups
is holding that intention that we are all together on the day's healing
journey, and also beginning the work with a guided meditation. at the end of
this meditation we are brought to presence with all our ancestors, and then the
constellations begin. at the end of the day, we return to the point we were at
the end of the morning meditation, reconnect with our ancestors with new
awareness, and then reverse the experience to come out of the meditation. It
creates reverence and grounding for the work, and a clear demarcation between
the experience of the day and life to follow.
Also, at the beginning of each constellation the representatives are
given guidance from the facilitator on how to come into the role, and then how
to disconnect at the end of the constellation. We make it clear with a bell
when the constellation is complete, and nothing is to be added to it. We also
suggest the representatives say to themselves who they are not, then who they
are (full name), and then if they need more, to say they are the son or
daughter of father's full name, and then son or daughter of mother's full name.
And if that's not enough we suggest they debrief with one of the facilitators.
Grounding, breathing, gentle movement, walking on the earth are always good as
well.
peace,
Chuck
