since three weeks I am in Shanghai, now I have 3 days rest and I want to
send you this letter
Here I just started my tenth training in family constellation for Chinese
people - with a 5 day seminar and 45 people. The people are so eager to get
it. Some want to become facilitators but most do for their own healing.
All families over the world share similar problems. But this time were some
more Chinese issues. There was a lot of pain in many women because families
appreciate so much boys. One woman was the second female child and she told
that the mother had asked the father: “Shall we give her away?” He meant:
“Now as she is here, we can also keep her.” This is not a very heartful
welcome … One woman spoke of the problems the grown up brother has with the
father. And she added: “When I was 16 years old I heard this boy was not my
biological brother but I had a little sister. And because my parents wanted
a boy they exchanged her for a boy of another family.” In a constellation
she met her little sister who was suffering so much… And also the pressure
on man: A man told about his broken heart when he was 20. Two years he had
been together with a girl and then she left him because he was poor.
Next year I will give over this training in Shanghai to Bill Mannle, so I
know it is in good hands. And I still will go to China but with different
topics.
