Sometimes you don't realise something until you look back. I think
Constellation research has has been my main focus in the last 2 years and
continues to be. I try to learn what is a Constellation, how does it work, what
are the effects.
The search repeatedly throws up many questions about destiny, energy,
facilitator health, permission, and what is in the system.
On a practical level. if we take a step back from seeing the effect on the
'client' as the current research seems to do, maybe it would be good to look at
the effects of the Constellation process itself.
For example who is the client? We know that you don't have to do your
Constellation to be very effected at a workshop. We often assume it is because
that people have their own issue triggered. But often we tend to say this, not
them. They might say "It feels like I have done my Constellation, but I never
even represented, I just sat here in the circle". It seems that the
Constellation accesses energies, even before we 'formally' start. I recently
had a situation where the Constellation seemed to start when a referring
Therapist mentioned the word 'Constellation' to a client referred to a
workshop. The word Constellation seems to have the ability to invoke something,
as it must, because it exists and is part of the System.
Recently participants at workshops have been feeling as though they know each
other, as some deep level, as they meet each other at the start of the
workshop. So how does the group form, and how is the facilitator connected to
the group that forms. Are there things we are not aware of what attracts a
certain group together? I am thinking not just at the level of projection here.
Energy. Obviously energy is in the room. Whose energy is it? We like to think
it comes from the clients system, but is that true? Does it also come from the
facilitator, the other participants and from energy at the venue and the
land/nature. Does the Constellation access these energies as well? After we
finish the workshop, what happens to all this energy, does it return to the
right place? When a representative feels they are still representing a few days
later, we might do some exercise to help them let go of something and come back
to themselves, but maybe the energy from the Constellation is still coming to
them. Once a Constellation starts it is always there, we should be used to
that by now, as the elements we work with are always there.
The other area of research is with my health, and the effects on my
relationships, and my children, who have never been to a workshop.
