Dear Friends,
Thanks for this thread on Research, I think it is very important.
I enjoyed reading the research papers.
I am thinking that the way we research Constellations is to use methods of
analysis, where we focus on a part of the system (how was it for the client) or
we test a hypothesis. Maybe I am wrong, I am not an expert on research! I
would appreciate the views of those who kindly have shared their research.
Since Constellations are Systemic work, I wonder how we could research the
System, in addition to a particular aspect of it. Maybe we need to develop a
systemic research methodology. Does this type of approach exist now? What
guides me in saying this is that the effects of Constellations maybe allot
wider than we think, so much is out of our awareness. It would be useful to
become aware of what we are not so aware of.
I am imagining that the flavour of 'Systemic' research is broad. For example,
what are the effects on Facilitators, their families, representatives and their
families, even the workshop space, the chairs, and people who use the spaces
later, and nature. Since we work with energy, the boundaries or the Systemic
limits are probably much wider than we think.
Best wishes to all.
