I came to my understanding of the Field after having begun my Andean
mysticism studies. The Andean paqos (mystics) talk and teach about *kausay
("COW-sigh)*, a Quechua word with various levels of meaning.
*Kausay*, as best I can describe it in English, is the sea of living energy
from which everything arises and of which everything is made. It is a
reservoir of intelligent, responsive, energy and information. The paqos say
"everything is kausay". Kausay is alive. It is life force, living energy
which is aware. It has things it wants to tell us, things it desires us to
know. It is constantly changing and transforming. The paqos are constantly
"surfing the kausay" in their ceremonies, checking and re-checking it to
discover how this field of energy is shifting. They are listening to what
it wants to bring to our attention in the moment. From this foundation,
descriptions of the Field made perfect sense to me. The *kausay* is the
Field of Nature, the Field of Creation and creative and enlivening forces.
Within the *kausay* are components: there is the Field of healing, the *hampi
kallpa, *'healing energy'. The paqos talk of the *pacha hampi,* the
realm/Field of healing within the kausay. There is the *nawpaq pacha,* the
realm of the Ancestors. Each place has its own *pacha*, organized by the
Pachamama, the realm of the Mother, Mother Cosmos, the mother of us all.
*Pacha* is a difficult word to translate into English concepts: on a
surface level it means "the time and place of something". A constellation
is a *pacha*, a constellation circle is also a *pacha *which contains and
organizes/holds the pacha of the constellation itself. *Pacha* in a larger
sense means "everything that can be experienced/known about something".
To me, all of these concepts imply nested Fields which interact and inform
each other.
Perhaps these ideas can help you in your languaging. This foundation helps
me a lot with a cosmological framework that I can attempt to transmit.

with it. It's such a wordless, felt experience for me that I'm struggling
with how to describe it in a piece of writing.
I can teach students to recognize and relate with the Field through
experiential exercises, but in this situation, I need to find language that
can transmit some of that to the reader.
Can anyone point me to books, articles, blog posts, etc that specifically
address the Field as we understand and collaborate with it in
constellations?
Or could you share a bit about what and how you experience the Field, and
how you engage with it as a facilitator?
