Sometimes people bring issues to constellations work that I refuse to work
with. I call it 'throwing the tea leaves'. Its in the order of 'I want to know
about the future of my son, who has problems at school', or 'I want to see
whether I should leave or stay at my job', or 'I want to see if my stress is
linked to my grandparents'.
Whilst good may come out of such explorations - that is, awareness, I find
myself more interested in distilling what I consider to be more fundamental
issues, ones closer to the core of the person. I am interested in who they are
in these places, whereas what they ask for is some kind of 'information'.
Perhaps this is my bias, coming from my background as a therapist.
I am interested what others do with this phenomenon, and these type of
questions.
