I am reporting in to the group on an event we had yesterday at our property in
the Yarra Valley - we invited some of our clients - who had experienced
constellation work and the members of our peer group - to come and plant a tree
in honor an ancestor - in addition we're interested in climate change - or more
specifically CO2 reduction -and the context was also create and awareness and
action within people to begin tree planting on a regular basis. At the end of
the tree planting and dedications one of our associates performed an
'Agnihorta' ceremony -its an Ayurvedic fire ceremony
http://www.tapovan.net/agnihotra/index.html this was interspersed with ;
camaraderie, cups tea - our British heritage shows occasionally - afternoon tea
delights - more British heritage.
Yesterday was a beautiful afternoon in the Yarra Valley and the whole
afternoon/evening was a delight - each person was asked to say a few words
about the ancestor and some of these were moving tributes and expressions of
gratitude - to ancestors who brought the family to Australia, to an ancestor
who ran a away from home at 13 and therefore survived the holocaust, to unborn
children - ancestors who hadn't made it to Australia but now had a place here
were just a few and so it went for two and a half hours as the holes were dug
and each tree was lovingly planted.
Many people approached my partner and I at the end of the day and thanked us.
people brought friends and there were a few of our clients who had yet
experience constellation work who have booked in to our next workshop
the benefit of the day included a small step in CO2 reduction, people bowing to
and honoring ancestors, creating an awareness in all of us that the work is
alive in a our lives at all times and bringing further strength and peace to
family systems
I'd like to encourage any of you out there who feels drawn to this idea - to
have a go - I think you'll love it, your clients, friends and associates sure
will and so will the planet.
I walk through the paddock/field and along the creek where we planted these
trees at dawn this morning and it felt as though we had new friends living on
our property
Merry Christmas
