Dear Chris,
well, saying you "genuinely thought I must have been reading a different
article" you are outing yourself as an unattentive reader. Rather give me
sarcastic polemics, that's more fun.
But that is not the point here.
It is good to read you welcome my suggestion to represent Bert in the
photo gallery in a 'pivotal' way and that you will review the article in
regards to Bert's standing in it.
But why restrict that review to the group of authors?
Why not ask all members to share ideas in that and other regards?
There is a Logo contest going, why not a 'how to honour Bert' one?
When you write:"I also thank you for your concern about our level of
membership.." (referring to my CTalk post)
I wonder who thanks me there, as I trust we are equal in our interest to
see ISCA grow into a truly
democratic and participatory association that represents the views and
wishes of its diverse membership.
With current electronic world spanning means at our disposal,
an attainable endeavour.
This very first thread on the ISCA blog is hopefully just a beginning.
