One thing to do with perpetrators in the family is to have
two people represent them -- one representing the
perpetrator part and one representing ancestor part. The
perpetrator representative goes out the door and shuts it
behind him, and the ancestor, through whom life comes,
stays. The facilitator can check with the representatives
after a while to see if they feel they're in the right
place. The client can bow to the one representing the
ancestor part if it feels right.
