Hi Tim, and everyone else interested in the Motu cards. I was on the phone with
their tech support yesterday, and they were curteous enough to assist me with
setting up my cuemix the way i want. The guy I spoke to was familiar with jaws,
and even said himself that their new interface will not work with it. I asked
him if they were working on anything that might help resolve the issue, and he
suggested writing into tech support via email. I don't know if anyone has done
this and how responsive/attentive they've found Motu to be to our situation,
but perhaps we could all email them regarding the issue?

  Hi,

  I know it's been a long time since you posted this, but I've been doing some
  digging with another user and we've pinned down the following:

  1 - The Mk3 versions of MOTU's fire wire and USB interfaces use a new
  version of Cue Mix that does not work with the HSC/script combination I
  developed for my PCI 424 and USB 828 Mk2 interfaces. The new application
  had to be written because the new interfaces have on-board DSP functions
  that could not be supported using the previous Cue Mix;

  2 - I'm unable to modify my HSC/script set to support the new interfaces, as
  the new Cue Mix is not backwardly-compatible and will not work with my 828
  Mk2. Similarly, I can't afford to buy a Mk3 interface in order to do this
  work;

  3 - If I come across a client with a Mk3 interface at any point in the
  future I'll investigate what can be done with the new Cue Mix, but I can't
  promise anything - sorry.

  Best wishes.

  Hi Tim Burgess,
  My motu 828mk3 is fire wire. If the usb and fire wire operate the same, How
  did you set the Q mix so that the keyboard can be heard when you play it? As
  always I thank you for information you can share.
