Someone said to get the CME VX8. That has a built-in control surface with motorized faders, but odds are that you aren't going to be able to get that to easily integrate with Sonar unless you're willing to spend dozens upon dozens of hours. Instead, try the CME UF8. That's the same controller, but without the control surface. Cakewalk/Roland makes an 88 key controller. It includes knobs and sliders that will easily setup for use with ACT. Still, I feel that ACT is only minimally useful. The down side is that I seriously doubt that the quality will be anything like the CME. If you're used to playing a piano, or even a weighted professional synthesizer, then the CME is probably the closest that you'll get in a MIDI controller. 99% of MIDI controllers are cheap plastic junk.
