You will probably get lower latency with ASIO drivers. You will find them on
the website.

  Hi,
Ok are there any differences between using wdm or asio for blind people? What
works best? I think I have to stay with tthe wdm for now because on the cd-rom
there is only an wdm driver. I need to see where I can get the asio driver.
If it is better for blind people to use asio then I will do it.

Patrick. In order to use ASIO drivers, you will have to actuallly install
them. For example, when you installed the Delta 1010, you would need to
install an ASIO driver, in order to use ASIO with that particular sound card.

Subject: [ddots-l] Question: Changing audio driver from Wdm to Asio in
Sonar

      Hi folks,
      I have an problem here.
I found out that an Asio driver is better to use as Wdm witch I am using
now and having problems. So I wanted to change that in sonar.
I went to the Audio menue with alt+p and went to the atwanced tap and
changed the Wdm to Asio. Now when I start sonar I get an message that tells me
that there are no creativ produkts on my system that support Asio.
      I am using:
      Jaws 7.0
      Sonar 5.2
      Caketalking 5.18
      an M-audio Radium 61
      an M-audio Delta1010 Lt
      and an M-audio midisport 4X4

What is wrong here? How can I check out why Sonar give me that message?
What are the exakt steps to change the driver in Sonar??
How can I check out witch drivers for my Delta 1010 lt (wdm, Asio or
other) are installed on my system?

I know that some of you use the Delta 1010 lt. So I hope someone can help
me here.
