I have no idea. But clearly, those of us who read Braille or grew up reading print have an advantage, since we don't tend to use phonetic spellings. Unfortunately, many English words are not spelled how they sound. Brandon, you are right that many people higher up make spelling mistakes, but that doesn't stop your own writing from being judged by those same people. Annoying, but there it is. Other people can't spell well, so why should I? That's a great attitude!

If the goal is to communicate instructions and explain procedures in a clear manner, to users with varying abilities, clear concise writing is the way to accomplish that. Fuzzy inaccurate writing is a result of fuzzy inaccurate thinking.
