Hey ron, I wouldn’t upgrade anything in fact I’d keep what you have unless
you’re willing to spend over $1500 on the soundcard such as an RME interface.
Indeed there are consuls that are made now that have hardware bass knobs such
as the pre-Sonus I R system and the sound craft MTK however due to the fact
that you already have a great soundcard it wouldn’t give you much advantage in
all. Unless you tell me that you’re fed up in using the control panel that is
not accessible with jaws and voiceover.
Hi, yours truly did take the plunge and bought myself a sound craft MTK and a
pre-Sonus Air system., however, that’s only because I need to be versed in
some consuls since I do provide tech-support However I do also have my Focus
right sapphire pro 40, and loving. At any rate if what you’re doing and what
you have works for your needs then don’t fix what ain’t broke

Stick with what you have. No point upgrading really if it is all working as
it should be :-)

Hi Folks
I've been trying to decide whether to upgrade my audio interface.
I currently am using the Roland Quad Capture.
One option I've explored is the Native Instruments Komplete 6, but it seems
to be fairly similar to what I have now.
The two questions I have for the group is.
What would be the advantages of upgrading this hardware.
Also, are there any suggestions for a step up from what i have?
Btw, I am not running a public studio with clients. I only record myself for
clients remotely,.
Thanks very much in advance.
Ron
