Hey Mark! Nice to hear from you. I was just telling someone today about you and
your Tyros dynasty lol. You're still on the 5? Though you would have upgraded
to the genos by now? Have you seen it? I'm still waiting for my local GC to
bring some in to play with, that and the PSR SX900.
Regards, DJX

I own both the mg10xu and the mg16xu and they are great.
You can use it as an USB interface.
Built in 24 effects, all kinds of controls on board and the mic preamp are
outstanding for the price point of the unit.
USB driver is required if using as an interface.
Important that the driver is installed before the mixer is connected to your
computer.
Here is a song I just sequenced using my tyros5 along with a Sennheiser
microphone connect to the mixer.
My lady friend, could not find a karaoke file for this song and she ask me to
do the track for her.
Originally, it was performed by the group, Highway 101.

Hope you injoy it.

Yamaha MG series work great, I've personally used the 10 and the 12 and
the 16, they have compressors on the mic channels, they are very
accessible, and work great with VMix, OBS studio and StreamLabs... They
have USB on board for stereo out. They also allow you to monitor a signal
without sending to USB, so you can quickly check something out first
before broadcasting it... They also have onboard effects so you can add
some reverb or delay etc.

Hi folks.
I'm asking this on behalf of a friend who needs to start doing virtual
presentations for work, including screenreader output.
His job is willing to pay for a mixer, a mic, etc.
What would you recommend? Simple is best here. He needs to combine a mic
signal, screenreader speech, and maybe one or two other things, and send
them on to whatever video conferencing application his job is using.
Thanks for any recommendations.
Chris
