Hi Chris,

I don't know about the others you mentioned, but the Yeti didn't work very
well with Cakewalk. It seemed to work Ok with non-CW applications, and the
quality was fine.

Hope it helps.

Tim

Subject: [ddots-l] Best USB Microphone?

HI folks.

I'm doing a lot more Skype, Ventrilo, and TeamTalk these days.

Have any of you compared the various semi-pro USB powered microphones out
there? They seem to range in price from about $60 to around $100.
Audio-Technica offer the ATR2100 and 2500, as well as the AT2020. Blue
Microphones seem to offer the Snowball Ice, and the Yeti.

I'm not looking for boomy bass or sizzly highs, just something balanced,
preferably with a pop filter.

Is there a clear winner in the above options?

Thanks in advance for any opinions.

Chris
