[ddots-l] Broken key on Axiom 61?

I have another question for you MIDI monsters. A C note on my Axiom will not
activate the note of any soft synth. When the octave is changed on the Axiom,
however, the "missing note" can then be played by playing an octave lower, but
then the broken key will then not play the new note. I don't know if this is a
Sonar thing or an Axiom thing--it's almost as if the Axiom key is broken. I
had planned on hooking up the Axiom directly to another MIDI keyboard to see if
it is sending out that particular MIDI note, but I am not sure if I can leave
the Axiom powered up via USB to the PC. I do not currently have an AC adaptor
for the Axiom. Any ideas on this or what I should look for in terms of the key
not working properly?
