I like the Yamaha MG-10 (in fact I have two). 4 XLR with phantom power, 10 channels, 2 channels with effects in/out. About 12 inches across by 9 inches deep and 3 inches thick, sits on a microphone stand with the available adapter. I use this for routing my PC and recording signals, as well as in live performance. Not a powered mixer, so cannot directly drive any mains speakers. Around US$80 Dave Composed on a Dell Latitude 630 in the general vicinity of my Audio Recording and Mixing Studios, San Francisco Bay Area. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nickus de Vos" <bigboy529@xxxxxxxxx> To: "Dancing dots" <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, March 23, 2011 09:05 Subject: [Bulk] [ddots-l] Analog studio mixer Hi i'm helping someone choosing a mixer for his studio. This must be a analog mixer spesifically designed for studio. It doesn't have to be a recording mixer like the Mackie onix oh and budget isn't realy a factor.
