Thanks Dave. Omar, The Pearl camera that works with Openbook 9.0 has a larger depth of field than a flatbed, so handles that problem very well -- but very expensively. But also very fast. Hello, I appologize for this being off topic, but I figure we're probably some of the most tech-oriented group of blind folks around. So, are there scanners that are better designed for scanning books into the comp more than others? I know we should use a flatbed, but are there any specificly made that capture the angle of books where the binding pages meet? Thank you for any help. Omar Binno Website: www.bigoproductions.net
