When I press f6 in the track pain ct doesn't say please wate, but if I do it in the buss pain then ct will say it. I also have done the control f12 thing and Jaws says that my screen has already been configured. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stacy Bleeks" <sbleeks@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

neville,

You have to open Sonar at least once and then do the control F12 thing and press enter on the first menu item which is something like enable ct sonar or something like that. Reboot your computer and you should be good to go.

I noticed that using the f6 with this cT 6.2.4 update, CT now says please wait, like in previous versions. I like this as it gives me the sense that something is happening while the screen is refreshed.

I down loded and installed the update today, but I'm not sure I have the right one because when I press insert q, jaws says that I'm running cake talking 6.2.2. The back slash key does move the tracks, but when I press f6 jaws hickups and does not inform me if the tracks have been configgured. also when I open a project weather new or existing, I have to alt tab over to sonar as if I changed aplications. Very weard can someone please tell me what's going on? I don't know for how long, but my list views in my diolog boxes are working again. When I use my arrow keys jaws will now speek when before I had to do a say line every time. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gordon Kent" <dbmusic@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Stacey:
There is no need to uninstall your previous installation of cake talking 6. You may want to restart your system after installing the new version. Pressing insert q should give you the proper version number of 6.2.4.

I've just installed the CT update from the dancing dots site. I believe, however, that the older 6.2 version of CT is still loading and not the 6.24 update. Is there a hot key to find out once I've opened sonar?

Also, will the previous tutorials be automatically updated or should I have uninstalled the CT folder from my programs first?

Thanks,

Stacy
