Sure. If you have already gone through the tracks and deleted the audio in
question then, there's just a few more things you need to do.

1: select all of the tracks that you have performed audio editing on.

2: press alt and the letter E in order to access the edit menu and follow that
with the letter Y. Using the letter Y triggers the "apply trimming command"
which, starts to separate the unwanted audio from your tracks.

3: use Alt and the letter E for the edit menu, followed by the letter b. Using
the letter B will cause sonar to bounce all of the audio that you wish to keep
on the individual tracks to one wave file or, clip per track.

4: save the project and close it. Now, go to the tools menu and choose the
"clean audio folder" command from the menu. Find the button in the dialog and
if your using per project audio which, you should be doing then, find the Sonar
project that contains all of the audio you were working on. Now: make sure you
have pressed the right arrow key in order to open the project folder. You
should now be focussed over the audio folder inside the project folder.

5: Use the keystroke, Alt and the letter F in order to execute the clean audio
command. Sonar will throw up a message about not being able to use the undo
history which, you can safely ignore. Press enter and Sonar will find the
audio. All of the deleted files will now show up in a dialog.

6: find the delete all button. Your done!

important things to remember. When using any of the above commands such as
"apply trimming, remember to select the track in question from beginning to
end. Otherwise, Sonar will only apply trimming on part of the wave files on
that track. Also,, before choosing the "bounce to clips command, always
remember to use the "apply trimming" command. If you don't then, Sonar will
bounce all of the audio to a clip however, it won't decrease in size as you
haven't actually told Sonar that you wish to get rid of all of that deleted
audio.

  Subject: [ddots-l] Cleaning up

  Hello:

I'm having a brain freeze. Can one of you Cakewalk/Caketalking experts tell
me what are the menu functions I need to go through to illuminate old unwanted
(leftover) takes on audio tracks. I think I need to do some kind of combining
of the actual track I want turning it into one solid track then I can use a
clean up function to get rid of those unwanted tracks/takes.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give
  Jeff
