Thanks, sorry if this sounds dim, but what does resolution have to do with not being able to see the screen? Why does it matter? <Smile> ----- Original Message ----- From: Darren H To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, April 29, 2010 10:50 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Configgering Cake-talking for Sonar 8 Hi. It's not your screen, but the screen resolution. The settings are in the control panel/display. settings. Can't remember which tab it is, but it is a drop down list with various screen resolutions. I got through the first part of configgering Cake-talking, but then I got a message saying my screen was the wrong size, could someone tell me what this means and why it would matter to a blind person? I'm also struggling with some of my windows settings, for example when I opened the "1, settings for windows xp" and it is asking me to go to folder options and check certain boxs, they don't seem to appeare. the only windoes settings I've managed to change are the ones for using windows classic, and the open each folder in a seperate window. Has anyone else had problems like this? It's not my Sonar, and I've set my Jaws to "Say All", but still no idea where I'm going wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks from Lori.
