Hi Satauna,

What you need to do is copy the text object to multiple staffs.

Just to be clear, when you creat text, you are in fact creating an object
which contains text. The object is what you see when you tab around in the score and the text is what you see when you press enter and move into the edit field.

Enough theory!
To create a dynamic in every staff, do the following:

1. create the text on one staff

2. Select the text object.
Note: when you press escape after entering the text, the object will be selected. If you hit Tab or ShiftTab you will select the next or prior object.

3. Cut and copy the object to the clipboard with Control+C.

4. Move to the note that you want the text to appear under.

5. Select the entire system with Shift+Alt+A.

6. Paiste the text to all staffs with Control+V

7. There will be two copies of the text in the staff where you first created the text, but you should still be on the note which the text was atatched to, so shift tab once and delete the text there.

hope this helps,

Dan

Subject: [ddots-l] Copying expressions in Sibellius

Hi, all. I've scoured the Sib Speaking tutorial, and I can't find any info
regarding copying expressions from one staff to another. I want the same
expression--at the same place--in multiple staves. I tried selecting all
staves and then inserting the expression, but it seems to only have put an
expression in the topmost staff. Any ideas? It would seem to me that one
should be able to create an expression in multiple staves in the same way
one might create an articulation in multiple staves, but it ain't workin'!
ARGH!

Thanks,
Satauna
