Sorry to be so late with reading your story of your bout with canser, and listening to your music, but, from this day forth, I'll be praying for you to The God that can do anything but fail my Friend! I hear Faith in your music! Thanks for sharing! ----- Original Message ----- From: Greg Brayton To: midi mag ; ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, February 05, 2012 6:55 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Cross post a little story Lately I've gotten more in to the soft synths by getting that complete 8 and hot spotting it abit. Steve S has now given us so much access to omnisphere that I can add effects easier than I can right through sonar. Darren made some good hotspots for stylus and that all plays a part in the following tune. About 9 years ago I got diagnosed with cancer and they didn't think I'd go much longer than a year but here God has me 11 years later feeling pretty good most of the time, but still doing some experimental chemo that is actually suppose to shrink the cancer some. The last ct scann showed it might be headed that way. All this to say, that with this latest round of chemo I have felt good enough to get right down to the studio and create. So I have several instrumentals I've done on the day of and the day after. I just wanted to show this latest one off, because I used so many different sounds from the soft synths I spoke about earlier. I hope you get a smile out of it. My email is greg@xxxxxxxxxxxx if you'd rather not clutter up the list but wanta say something. Gosh I had fun today! Ooh sorry I see the link might be to big you might have to copy it in to your browser. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27607335/can%20the%20chemo%20cause%20a%20little%20native%20omni%20indigestion.wav
