Go to
www.analogx.com
The program you wanm is called DXMan. I remember this being pretty accessible, but I haven't used it in years so can't swear by it. Try it though, its free and don't forget to checkout some of their other programs. They have some pretty good useful stuff.
It'll be under audio.

Subject: [ddots-l] DXI & VST Removal

Greetings from Down Under....:)

Would like to get rid of some of my DXI & VST soft synths that I no longer wish to use. And to stop them from coming up in the Insert/DXI Synth Menu in Sonar.

Is it just a case of deleting the so named synths from the

Sonar/Shared Plug-ins/Shared DXI folder,
and ditto for where I have the VST Synths installed?

Or perhaps it is a little more complicated?

Maybe it is so simple, that I have just missed the "bleeding" obvious....:(

Please excuse the expletive....:)

Your wise words would be of great help....

Regards,

David
