Hi Djx,
Thanks for the reply. So when you’re finished with the midi tracks and ready to
convert them to audio, would it be best to just archive the midi tracks and
recover them later if needs be?

Don't remove synths or delete tracks. If you ever want to remix or edit or
do anything with the project, you'll thank yourself.
Export each track as broadcastWave audio, as your mixer will just drop them
all in to their setup for mixing.
Odds are that he/she probably doesn't use SONAR any longer, so sending the
CWP file will probably not be a good idea.

Subject: [ddots-l] Deleting Synths From Recorded Projects
Hello all.
I hope everyone is doing well. Having been away for most of Christmas and New
Years I am about to finish some recently started projects with sonar that are
nearly ready for the mixing stage. However, I am not sure how should soft
synths be deleted from projects to conserve resources? For instance, should
the soft synth audio and midi tracks be deleted before the soft synths in the
synth rack view, or vise versa? I would of course convert all midi tracks to
audio after recording has been completed and I am happy with the project. It
says on the tutorial that the midi and audio tracks should be deleted first,
but I am not sure. I tried that once but although the synths were deleted
from the synth rack view the project took forever to load, so I had to save
the audio tracks into a folder and reopen them in a new project.
All the best,
Josh
