[ddots-l] Re: Dimension Pro Reverb is where?

I got it! The problem was that when I was inside the Element 1 Mix or some
other page, I was using Control-F4 and Alt F4 to get out of the dialog after
altering some settings. This was totally shutting down the volume of the synth
by turning the element off. The next time I turned the element on I pressed
Escape and things worked well. I hope this might help someone else who might
be having the same problem.

But I still cannot figure out where to go to turn the reverb on for MIDI tracks
assigned to TTS-1 outputs 2, 3, and 4. Does this require HSC? I know the
TTS-1 is an old synth, but this is baffling me. Any reply would be
appreciated.

Thanks.

S.B.

David, I missread your comment. I tried to press the application key on the
actual reverb column on the MIDI track, and of course, it doesn't do anything.
I then went to the FX bin on the MIDI track and saw the MIDI FX for the first
time (I'll have to try these out sometime.) I realized that you meant for me
to do what I was already doing and that was inserting a reverb into the FX Bin
of the Output track of that DP instance.

I then did the Control-y thingee on the MIDI track, pressed F4, and went
through some of these options again. I went to the Gobal Reverb Mix option and
selected Hall one more time. This time I waited and tabbed and wound up on a
set of edit boxes. I eventually ran across Reverb Gain. It was at 33% I
belive and I increased it greatly. For a moment I had reverb. The thunder
crashed so I shut everything down. Look like it's going to take another day.
Sorry for the long explanation, but I felt I needed to explain myself. Did any
of this make sense?

I'm going to read now about HSC. I read about it when I first got my system
but was reluctant when I was not sure of how it worked. Let me know more when
you get time. thanks.
