Yes, it is stated in the CT setup documentation found in the start menue.
Google the two specific patch updates, install them, then install CT.
If you will be using HSC, go ahead and install that before CT as well.

Well, I had  cake talking 8.8 installed. It was then that I was getting
the error message. So I uninstalled Cake talking, the error message has
gone
away. Are you saying, that I have to have the patch for sonar 8.5.3
installed before I install Cake talking  an 8.8?
