I too have experienced this and Ron's solution fixed it for me. Whenever I
snatch something from YouTube with "Pontes Media Downloader" or "4k YouTube to
mp3" and try to import the audio into sonar, I get the out-of-memory error. I
bring the file into Sound forge, save it back out, and then it loads into sonar
with no error.

Sorry, phone was being wonky.
I've seen this message before with Sonar. Not sure what it has to do with
memory though.
My fix was to import the audio file in to something like Audacity and then
export it as a new file. That seemed to work.
Hope this helps.

Hello all, whenever I attempt to import an audio file in to Sonar, I get an

memory 8.00 GB, available memory, 5.83 GB,total virtual memory 16.0 GB,
available virtual memory, 13.6 GB. Any thoughts as to why I’m getting the
message? Thanks.
