Hi, I thought it best to get a definitive answer from Neal at Duxbury. This follows, George W F Bell Techno-Vision Systems Ltd -----Original Message----- From: Neal Kuniansky Sent: 28 September 2006 17:39 To: George Bell Subject: RE: [ddots-l] Re: Duxbury versus Braille 2000 Does Duxbury feature six-key input? YES Does Duxbury Import/Export to/from Braille 2000 format? I believe the answer is yes. According to historical documentation in DBT WIN 10.6 on the .brf importer . . . " An ED-IT PC or Braille 2000 file is essentially a BRF file plus other information, and so such files may be imported as BRF files; the additional information is not used in the import process." Is copy/paste enabled between Duxbury and other programs? YES Or does Braille 2000 save to general text format for use in Duxbury? No sure DBT WIN is fully accessible and can be used by blind and sighted a like and DBT WIN can be used with JAWS, WindowEyes, & HAL/SuperNova DBT WIN 10.6 allows you to insert GoodFeel files directly into your document. Does Duxbury Import/Export to/from Braille 2000 format? Or does Braille 2000 save to general text format for use in Duxbury? Is copy/paste enabled between Duxbury and other programs? Some programs only use a program buffer (clipboard) to store copied items, while others use the Windows buffer which allows copy/paste across programs.
