Are you compressing tracks? You need to have a good sounding mix before getting
into mastering.
For limiting you can try elephant 4 or EBussLim both from Voxengo.
Some people also like the glue for compression along with the others already
mentioned.

Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply back. My main issue was when dealingPLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
with Boost 11. Phil had warned me before using it that it was really easy to
start making your mixes distort by accident. Man was he right LOL. I can’t do
anything more then 1 to 3 DB or so without things starting to distort and so
it’s hard for me to tell if I’m limiting correctly or not. I was definitely
looking for something that had presets I could jump to and then make
adjustments after the fact to kind of simplify the learning experience a
