Youtube has gotten me lots of engagements. Maybe you can have someone video
you doing a mixing or mastering session. As you do the video you should
include helpful tips on mixing and mastering. Then post these links on
Facebook twitter and other social networking sites.

HI folks.
In today's environment, where have you had luck with your
advertising and promotion?
I'm mainly into the mixing/mastering side, and am already
advertising on Facebook, Craigslist, and Kijiji, as well as
pitching direct to bands and so on that I find online.
Have any of you had luck with the above sites and methods, or can
you suggest others that have actually found you clients?
Everybody more established tells me that word of mouth is by far
the most helpful, but that only works once you've had a few
satisfied customers who can tell their friends.
