You can't insert them, but you can copy an existing expression to multiple staves. See my earlier post.

Don't think you cfan insert expressions on multiple staves at once.  If it

Ok, everyone, it's getting late and I got up too early.  I figured out how
to use the filter dialog to copy the expression. Like duh. Easy enough. So 
now I just want to know for future reference, is there a way to simply
create the expression over multiple staves in the first place, instead of
having to filter for it and then paste it to each staff?
