Hi. I made a mistake the other day. The error I get says that the application TFSW is not responding. After that, I get an error that says fdet is not responding. This is when I try to shut down or restart the machine. If I end both of these, I can usually restart without having to manually turn off the computer. Any idea on what might be causing this? This time, it happened with a daisy book on CD rom. Affter restart, the daisy book works fine. But these ten or so problem CDs and dvds don't work. They work fine on my laptop though and on others machines. I turned off the drg to dsc utility and uninstalled then reinstalled the driver for the cd/dvd combo drive. Any suggestions on what this could be? All my drivers are up to date as is my anti adware, anti spyware, anti virus, and windows updates etc. Thanks, Cameron. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
