Hi mate,
Actually is Guitar Rig version 3 .
at least was the version that came with mine.

To work with that plugin?
Basicly; like any other VST plugin Fx, start by inserting it at any audio track
 Fx bin .
Notest that soon you are at the Guitar Rig interface you can ear artists
presets list, use middle up and down arrow to select a diferent preset.
Well... in the interface... that's it!

Like any other plug, parameters adjustment are possible through the inspector
pain Fx plug parameters.
At the track view, use I.

Now.. the thing is that this plug has got more 4 preset lists,
Like lead guitar, bass presets also, etc.
not accessible.
That's why I made a HSC set to access those.
But the thing is, You gotta use HotSpot Clicker.

To read more and download the executable go to:
www.hotspotclicker.org

Below goes the direct beta page Guitar Rig 3 HSC set link:
http://www.hotspotclicker.org/HSCBeta/Sonar6Beta/GuitarRig3.zip

Note: To know the shortcuts read the help HSC that I attached, use control
Alt Shift H twice.

I've seen this program that shipped with Sonar 8.5 but never understood how
to use it. Can some one tell me how to use it? Is it accessible for us? Thanks

insert a new ]audio track, then go to my documents Cake Walk, Sonar bla bla
producer, Sample content,

Metronome Groove Clips ; inside this one you will get the audio and midi
metronome sounds used by Sonar.

Note, the audio audio samples are accidized, therefore they will folow pretty
well the project master tempo .

Could I switch to WDM just want enough to make a click track using the
metronome and then render a track with that? After I use the metronome to make
a click track, could I go back to ASIO?

      Hi D!J!X!,

Speaking of this business of asio and wdm drivers, I'd be interested in
what you and others prefer to use. I've heard that wdm is better, but then it
depends on what source you're reading, etc. I've been using asio for a while
now without any problems, but now with the discussion of the metronome
underway, I may consider switching to wdm to get more flexibility in my choices
for ins and outs. Any thoughts on these drivers?

Hi, 1 thing to note, virtual audio cable will only work if you are using

wdm. If you are using asio drivers for your interface, as you know you
can

only select 1 device at a time. So this solution wouldn't work then,
well

not without some other problems. If you have a saffire interface, this
is

where the virtual loopback ports come in handy! BTW, I thought you could

record a click by setting it to run on playback as well as recording? So

that when you mix down the bus will include the click track? I think I
did

this once a few years ago, don't remember how, but I know it's doable.
Or

maybe I used a physical cable, can't remember.

        HTH, D!J!X!
