If it's audio, and if you are trying to do chorus, you can make about 4 or 5
copies of the track and change the pitch without changing the tempo of each
one about 2 or 3 percent or so, up or down. So for the first copy, you could
shift the pitch down 2 percent, the second copy shift the pitch up 3
percent, for the third copy shift the pitch down 3 percent, etc. And move
each one a couple milliseconds over. For midi I don't know how to do chorus
but I think it's in the sonar effects but it might not sound right. Most
applits and softsynths will let you apply reverb and pulling the signal far
away from the microphone, can't you do that in Sonar? By what you have said,
you can't but maybe my chorus suggestion might help?

I have a guitar tract that I would like to put some chorus on, and push it
