Hi Steve.

The Ministry of Rock Guitars, including the strat are quite heavy, really not
the sound you want.

yes, Ministry is 100% bitmapped.

What i currently do is ask my partner to load in an instrument and then save
the project. when I load up the project again, the instrument loads with it.
I then resave the project with a different name once I've started using it to
write a track.

It's a bit of a clunky way around things, but it's not too inconvenient at the
moment.

cheers
Darren

  Thanks Darren,

Am I right in thinking that Ministry of Rock Bitmapped?

The reason I ask is, I was wondering what the Strat Guitar samples were like
when dry?

The Sonivoxmi is very 1950's sounding but it does lack body.

If I could find a classic 1950's - 1960's Strat Guitar that could be loaded
in to Dimension, I'd be over the Moon.

    Hi.

it's worth adding that if you contact a company and ask them about
accessibility, it's worth asking if their interface is bitmapped.

if an interface is bitmapped, accessiblity is going to be very very
restricted, as I found out to my cost.

Luckily, I have sighted assistance on tap so to speak so I'm very fortunate.

    Cheers
    Darren

      Hi Phil,

      I wasn't aware of HotSpotClicker.
I love the idea that some of the Softsynths that don't yet have support
may still be possible to use.

As you advised, I'll take a look in the Track Inspector first.

Phil, thanks so much for your help.

Steve, have you looked at this in the Track inspector in Sonar? You
can get at a lot of parameters in the track inspector and may be able to
disable the reverb in there. Also, if you have some sighted assistance around
then, you may be able to use HotSpotClicker to create keyboard support, tab
orders etc in this plug-in. You can read about HotSpotClicker over on:

          Hi Phil,
          Thanks for replying,

The sonivoxmi is a VST plug in that a sighted friend down loaded for
me from the sonivoxmi pick and mix type site.
as I guess you are already aware, I'm a new comer to this kind of
technology. The strat is in the plug in list with all the other soft synths.
I'd like to purch Sonivoxmi Broadway Big Band, just concerned that if
I'm not able to turn off the effect on the Strat, I maybe wasting my Money.

Sonivoxmi. Hmm, is that a sound Font? If so then, it should be
easy enough to turn affects off. Are you loaning that up in Dimension Pro or,
SFZ? If so then, and assuming your using Cake Talking, press function key F4
to choose various options. If your not using Cake Talking then, you can get
.HSC sets for alternative scripting packages and change various options with
the HotSpotClicker sets.

                  Hi all,

Please could someone advise on accessable software with good
Guitar samples.
I have a few on Dimension Pro and a stratt from sonivoxmi, but
the sonivoxmi strat unfortunately loads up with effects already added and you
have to see to switch them off.
