No doubt, some of the knowledgeable and helpful subscribers here will be
happy to help you, Chris. But I ask that general questions about how to
code scripts for HSC be posted to lists dedicated to that topic.

Thanks,

Subject: [ddots-l] Hot Spot Clicker Question

Hi folks.

Please keep in mind that I don't really know anything about scripting yet.
However, I have created several hot spots for an application that was
previously inaccessible to Jaws. I have a question about one of those
spots.

So far, I have a keystroke assigned to perform a custom single left click on
an Information icon. So far so good. When clicked, that icon pops up a
fairly simple three columns of text, which I can read with the Jaws cursor.
The thing is, I would like to do this automatically.

What's the easiest way to define the area in question and read it, and tie
that to my CTRL+SHIFT+I keystroke which clicks the information icon?

thanks for any help/clarification.
