Hello Randy,
The keyboard you have should sufficient, I don't think you will need to get another midi keyboard, provided that the keyboard has usb or midi connectivity. Have you already purchased a sound card ? You will also need a separate sound card for sonar and cake talking. I am also new to this and have the rowland quod capture usb audio interface. If you want to record vocals , you will need a vocal microphone as well. I have the rhode nt1a microphone. It's one of the best microphones out there. Again, I'm not entirely sure about the keyboard. As for the version of jaws that you have, jaws 15 is technically unsupported with the current version of cake talking 8.8, although I've heard that it works reasonably well with it. I hope this information is helpful. P.s, you may also need a control surface for mixing your projects as well. I have the BCF 2000 control surface.

Kind regards
Josh

Please everyone, forgive my severe stupidity in this.
I'm using windows 7 wwith jaws15.
i got a 64-bit machine.
will i need a midi controler keyboard besides this keyboard i'm
thinking of getting?
I'm very nervous and lost here.
