Dear Todd, I have Sonar 8 but I don't think the process is changed that much. Ideally, you should start with a blank project that has no tracks in it before doing the audio import. If you chose import audio CD from the import submenu of the file menu, you would have been presented with a dialog at the top of which was a box that indicated the drive where your CD was located. The main window should have presented you with a track list. You had to select at least one track for the OK button to be available. If you only chose one track, then the play button at the bottom of the list of options that included OK, Cancel and Help would also be available. If you chose more than one track to import, the play button would be grayed out. If no tracks were selected, the OK button would be grayed out. Unfortunately, whereas in the track view you can check which of your tracks are selected, you don't have this option in the import audio CD dialog as far as I can tell. When you hit OK, the tracks should start importing into your project. When the import is finished, go to any of the newly created tracks in the project and use the say line command to find out whether the track you're on has in fact been recorded. If material was successfully imported, the answer should be yes. Solo one of the tracks on which you have content, assuming that there is more than one and hit the space bar to see what you have. if you fined that you have content where you expect it, save the project. I doubt that the import wizard will automatically put the track into Sonar. I'm wondering how to import audio CDs in to Sonar 7. I tried the import audio CD function and it said it was ripping the disk, but when it was finished, I could not find them anywhere. Can somebody give me a clue what I may have missed here? Thanks allot. Todd Houghton PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
