The jury is still out on this one until someone can actually test this for 
real. I am hoping to be able to do this soon. Kore has a huge advantage over 
anything else because once it's set up, you can use the hardware interface to 
select and load any NI preset you have on your system.

Kore is not just a software VST! It actually has a USB or Firewire box that 
comes with it.

  does anyone know if Native Instruments kore is accessible. Since it can 
control all the NI softsynths from one interface, it'd be fabulous if we can at 
least just load presets from other NI software through Kore.
