Hi, How you set things up at the Sonar end of things depends on exactly what you want to do. The way I handle things on the Freak is to create a different preset for each job. For example, you've already got some kind of preset created for Sonar that probably sends MIDI CC messages out on the unit's global MIDI channel (16, if I remember rightly). The easiest thing to do is to copy this preset to a new one then change the MIDI channel being used (this will prevent your new preset from interfering with your Sonar control). There's a couple of free editors that can be used to do this kind of stuff on the Freak - Virtual Control Freak (not easily accessible) and Freak Control (not bad at all). You can get them via the Kenton web site: http://www.kentonuk.com/downloads/cf_editors.shtml If you can be more specific about what you want to do, I could probably help more. Cheers. But I'd love to use it with EQs, reverbs, delays and other plugins. Using it for some VSTs is fine, but not that important to me. How do you use it? Also, are there any EQs reverbs, (ESPECIALLY EQS), delays that you use it with? If so, what are they and how can I get a hold of them? And how do I set it up and use it? It would be great to be able to use Sonars FXEQ with it. Many many thanks, Jeanette Contant-Galitello ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tim Burgess" <tim@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, May 09, 2006 11:35 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Kenton Control Freak > Hi, > > I've got one of these and it works very well.
