Phil replied: not at all. In fact, those Blüthner pianos are extremely well designed. They really new what they were doing when they built them, right down to what piano wire they used and this was all before we had computer programmes that could be used to model a piano design.

Phil replied: thanks! Well, I probably tuned that one as that's where I learned to tune pianos, smile and I do remember tuning a Blüthner. That's where I met a fellow lister, Darren Heartland. Phil Kennedy taught me all I know about piano tuning. Then there was Don cooper.. An amazing piano tuner with a bit of a strong temper, grin.
