We just lost another great musician. Shit... 67 isn't old! :("George Duke leaves behind a monstrous music legacy, which spans from the 1960s to present day. He has played with everyone from Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon and Miles Davis to Frank Zappa, George Clinton and Anita Baker. Perhaps Duke will be most remembered for one of his earliest works, The Jean Luc Ponty Experience with the George Duke Trio. Rest in peace, George Duke."

That opening solo on Zappa's "Eat That Question" will always totally slay me and make me feel glad to be alive.
