From the announcement for CT 8.5, way way back, I read the following: Loop Construction CakeTalking now fully supports the Loop Construction View. In this view, rhythmic audio clips can be converted to groove clips that contains tempo, beat and pitch information. This allows SONAR to stretch the groove clip so that it conforms to the tempo and key of any project you import the groove clip into. But in the tutorial in CT 8.5.68 I read:Any Audio clip can be converted to a groove clip that contains tempo, beat and pitch information. This allows SONAR to stretch the groove clip so that it conforms to the tempo and key of any project you import the groove clip into. The Loop Construction View is where you can construct and edit groove clips. Support for this view is not yet available in this version of CakeTalking. Nevertheless, here are a few things you can do. To open the Loop Construction view you must be on an audio track. Then press ALT + 2.
To close the Loop Construction view, press CONTROL + F4.To play the selected loop, press CONTROL + SHIFT + SPACE. It will play continuously until you press CONTROL + SHIFT + SPACE again.
Assuming it's accessible, how do I use it? I was really looking forward to trying to make some loops with some of the peculiar instruments I've got lying around.
