In Sonar, Hold dwon Insert+1
or JAWS key+1 how every a wanna call it, and press the key you want to know about. and you'll hear what it does.
press it twice to get a full description. if their's one set.
that's what i do.
to exit, press insert+1 again.

I wonder, what does the Shift+F3 key combination do? Does it take you to the Event Filter? The reason I ask is because I don't think I've ever used that particular key combination before.

hold the alt key then the number 4 key to see the event view for each track. make sure that either no tracks are selected when you do this, or only the track you want to see is selected. to make sure the velocity is the same, you have to select the track, then hold the shift and press f3 twice quickly. if you do a control and arow keys, you'll hear the fx tab, then use the right arow to get to chorus and reverb fx.

    Hi all,
I will do a project, to record and mix MIDI tracks. Would you all
enlighten me up by answering these questions:
    1. How to check velosity level in a certain track and in the whole
project? I want to make sure that the velosity level is even.
    2. Is there any ways to put the MIDI information in my track
without playing it with MIDI controller? My teacher uses Cubase
and he is more into it. He shew us just now that he can key in the
MIDI info in the drum tracks without playing the actual notes with
the MIDI controller. He uses mouse, anyway. Is there any ways for
    blind users to do similar?
    3. How to adjust all tracks to get the best balance when we do mixing?
    4. How to add effects to my MIDI tracks? For example, I want to
have reverb effect in my drum track. Would you tell me how to do it?
I look forward to hearing from you very soon. Any help, input,
ideas, will be highly apreciated. Many thanks.
    Winy.
