What would also help is if people learned how to configure signature blocks. Did you know, for instance, that a line with two simple characters on it as part of or just before a signature will cause an email client to discard it when replying to a message? What are those two characters? Two dashes. The owner of the list from which this message came could do well to implement this very feature. The signature block of this very email list is already fourteen lines long. Add personal sigs, and it starts gettin' ugly.
