Hi Lewis,

I've reserved a unit at my local Digital Village store - they've still got
some units that aren't bundled with Live!, so it saves me about £200
Sterling. I'm going to have a look at the Tascam anyway, as the Tascam's
ability to run stand-alone has value for my needs and it's only about £50
more expensive. What in particular did you hate about the Tascam? Could
you tell the up/down position of its switches?

Thanks yet again.

Tim

with me its everything to feel. even if some of the controls like yo'd find
on other desks light up you feel the heat of the switches to tell if they're
on or off lol. its a very tactile desk. love it to bits. M-audio you rock
guys. in fact I'm gonna buy another so I can take that for demonstrations
for blind music students in education.
