Hi:

If you are using your Casio keyboard as both the keyboard controler and the
sound generator on a midi track, the sound will come out of your keyboard. I
am not familiar with your Uno interface, but if it has audio inputs, you can
then, connect the audio outputs from your keyboard to the inputs in your
interface and record each midi track on a separate audio track. After you do
that, then, you will hear the audio tracks through the speakers of the audio
interface connected to your computer.

If you want to use Dimension pro, you need to insert an instance of Dimension
by pressing alt-i, then the letter Y. Arrow down until you find Dimension pro
and press enter. The CakeTalking Manual has a section explaining the dialogue
boxes you are going to see in order to insert a soft synth.

Good luck.

Hi everyone,
Have a quick question about a midi setup I’m working with. I am using a casio
keybo, with a Uno midi interface connected to it. Now, I can’t make the midi
play out of my computer speakers, it is playing out the keyboard, and it’s
blending it with the sounds my keboard makes, if that makes any sense. Also,
how do you access all of the synths in dimention pro?
Thanks a lot for any help you can give,
Chris Harrington
